Wedding videos and wedding videographers are starting to become more and more common for wedding couples. Social media continues to embed itself in the daily lives of people, and technology advancements make high-quality videos the standard way to view media and remember events. This means that more couples are starting to see the benefits of having a wedding videographer encapsulate their big day in a way that photos just can’t.

But before a wedding couple even thinks about hiring a wedding videographer or photographer, they first need to know where they are having their wedding in the first place.

Looking for a wedding venue is the most important and expensive part of any wedding. That’s why you really want to look around and consider your options if you are struggling to pick the right venue.

But it doesn’t have to be. If you are close to the Pittsburgh area, then you are in a prime location to have an absolutely stunning wedding. You won’t have to worry about how the wedding video turns out, because Pittsburgh has a wealth of mesmerizing scenery that will automatically make your wedding day stand out. City Venues

If you're looking for a city landscape view during your wedding, or to be located near downtown, Pittsburgh has many venues to offer. With all of the bridges and cultures around the city, Pittsburgh is certainly a unique city to host your wedding. Below, you'll find some of our favorite venues around the area.

1. LeMont

Lemont offers a view of Pittsburgh that few wedding venues can match. When you have your wedding at Lemont, you get a perfect bird’s-eye view of Pittsburgh at the point where all three rivers connect. When the sun goes down, the city lights make for a magical moment on your big day.

Check out some of more of their information on their site.

2. The Pennsylvanian

If you are going for a more historic, yet elegant style for your wedding, then take a look at the Pennsylvanian. Situated right in the heart of the city, the Pennsylvanian is an enormous 11,000-square-foot event space, detailed beautifully down to the marble floors. Having your wedding here may just be one of the best decisions you ever make.

3. Kimpton Hotel Monaco

The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is amazing for a couple of reasons: First, it has rooftop space. And while a lot of places in Pittsburgh have rooftop space, this one has particularly gorgeous city scenery—the kind that really makes you feel like you are the center of the city. Second, it has elegance while retaining a modern twist to it. Because of these two standout qualities, Kimpton Hotel Monaco stands out from a lot of the other Pittsburgh wedding venues.

10. Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory

Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory is a historically gorgeous venue. Though generally more expensive than the other venues, it’s well worth the price.
